Question: Is there such a shape as an irregular quadrilateral with 4 equal sides? I think not but my daughter,aged 10,has to draw one for homework. Surely irregular means it has 4 unequal sides! Trick homework I guess!!

I don't think this is a trick question at all. A regular polygon, whether it has 4 sides, a quadrilateral, or any other number of sides must have all sides congruent and all angles congruent. Can you draw a quadrilateral with all sides of the same length and yet the angles are not all equal?
