the size of a lot is 300 sqm, what is the square feet conversion?

There are approximately 3 feet in a metre so an approximate conversion is to multiply by 3 3 = 9 and get 2700 square feet.

To make the conversion exactly I know that there are 2.54 centimeters in an inch and hence there are

2.54 12 = 30.48 centimeters in a foot.

One metre is 100 centimeters and thus there are

 ^30.48/₁₀₀  = 0.3048 meters in a foot and hence
 ¹/_0.3048 = 3.28 feet in a metre.

Hence your 300 square metre lot has is 3.28  3.28 300 = 3227.52 square feet.
