Other person – looking at land and needing to know

How do you turn land measurements into acres
Such as piece of property is 45 x 167

Or 200 x 155

I know you would multiply it but then what would you
Divide it by to get the acreage, Would is be 207.8?

Hi Judy,

You haven't said what units you are using. If your dimensions are in feet then there are 43560 square feet in an acre so multiply the dimensions in feet and divide by 43560. If your dimensions are in yards then there are 43560/9 = 4840 square yards in an acre so multiply the dimensions in yards and divide by 4840.
