How do i get the height of an isosceles triangle???
thank you

Hi Luis,

If you know the lengths of the sides you can use Pythagoras theorem.

Let D be the midpoint of the side BC then triangle ADC is a right triangle. Since you know the length of AC and DC if you write down Pythagoras theorem for the triangle ADC you can solve for the length of AD which is the height.
