Question:
How would you set-up and answer a problem like these one? Triangle ABC has vertices A(-2,2), B(1,-2), and C (1,2). Use slopes to determine if the triangle is a right triangle.

Hi Alicia,

Use the coordinates to find the slopes of the three sides of the triangles; AB, AC and BC. Two lines are perpendicular if the product of their slopes is -1. Check to see if any pair of sides of the triangle are perpendicular.
