I AM 9 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE HOMEWORK. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS SUCH A THING AS A EQUILATERAL SQUARE.

Hi,

The word equilateral means equal sides. It come from Latin where equi means equal and latus means side. (A lateral in football is when you throw the ball to the side.) Thus an equilateral triangle is one with all three of its sides of equal length. Since the four sides of a square are already of equal length you don't need to say equilateral when referring to a square. I suppose you might say a square is an equilateral rectangle.
