Subject: mixed decimals hello. My son is having problems with mixed decimals and mixed fractions.. I am unable to find any information or examples on this subject so I can show him how to do it.. for example how do you make a mixed decimal or fraction out of 7/16.. Thanks much..
Tim Finch A mixed number or mixed fraction consists of a whole number and a fraction, such as "three and one fifth". You can write such a number as a mixed fraction, 3 1/5 or a decimal 3.2. I have never seen anyone try to express a fraction between zero and one, such as 7/16, as a mixed fraction. Cheers,Penny
