What number from 1 to 25 has the most factors?______ List its factors:______________

Hi John,

I think that you just have to list the numbers from 1 to 25 and their factors. Some are easy. For example primes like 3 have only two factors, 3 and 1.

For non-primes I would first write the number as a product of primes. Thus for 12,

12 = 2x2x3 From this you can see that 12 = 1x12
12 = 2x6
12 = 4x3
hence 12 has six factors, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12.
