3) First factor it and you should see something like problem 13).

13) (2x + 1)3 is (2x + 1)(2x + 1)(2x + 1) and thus its cube root is (2x + 1).

14) Here you need to see that -32 = (-2)5 and that y10 = (y2)5. Thus

-32x5y10

= (-2)5x5(y2)5

= [-2xy2]5
Hence the fifth root of -32x5y10 is -2xy2
