My problem is : square your height in inches and take 4.25 percent of the result to determine if you are overweight.

Hi Oneita,

You multiply it by itself.

I am 5 feet 8 inches tall so my height in inches is 5*12 + 8 = 68. I can square it with the x2 button on the calculator, or multiplying 68 times 68, and I get 4624. Now I multiply by 0.0425 (that is, I take 4.25 percent) and I get 196.52. This tells me that I could weigh as much as 196.52 pounds without being overweight!

Cheers,
Claude
