What is the factoring of x squared -7+6 equal

I am not sure that I received your question correctly. If the question is to factor

x² - 7 + 6 then this is x² - 7 + 6
= x² - 1
= (x - 1)(x + 1) since x² - 1 factors as a difference of squares.

If the question is to factor

x² - 7x + 6 then the factoring is x² - 7x + 6 = (x - 6)(x - 1)
