how would you solve the following problem? If z to the power of -4= 1/z4 then how would you solve 1/t-2?

I am not sure that I have this correct but I think you are asking

If z -41/z4 then what is  1/t -2? Assuming that this is the question then t -2 = 1/t2 and hence

 1/t -2 =  1/( 1/t 2) = t2
