Carol

My question is regards to secondary,10th grade algebra 2

I am a confused parent trying to help my dau hgter solve some math problems and I need help.

3[x-4]=27

f(x)-3x squared-2x (f=4)

Hi Carol,

You haven't given any instructions but I assume for the first problem you are to solve for x. If this is the case then, since 27 = 3  9, you have

3 [x - 4] = 3 9. Thus x - 4 = 9 and hence x = 13.

For the second problem I really need to know what question is asked.
