I used my dictionary to look up how mant square feet there are in an acre. There are 43,560 square feet in an acre. You have only a small fraction of an acre, 0.027 of an acre. If you write 0.027 as a common fraction you get  ²⁷/₁₀₀₀, so if you divided an acre into one-thoudand equal size pieces, you would have 27 of them. That is

twenty-seven thousandths of an acre or

 ²⁷/₁₀₀₀one acre or

 ²⁷/₁₀₀₀43,560 square feet

which is 1176.12 square feet.
