Quandaries and Queries

Hello,

I need help understanding how the following problem works:

Rewrite using only positive exponents:
(4a4b2)4 * (4a-3 bc2)-3

If you could help explain this step by step I would greatly appreciate it. I am a returning college student and this is my first time dealing with algebra.

Thanks alot,

Denita
