i was wanting to know how many palindromes were in between the numbers 1000 and 9999, and then i was also wondering if you could tell/show me how you figured it out.

Hi Heather,
This is a four digit palindrome, so once you know the first two digits you also know the last two digits. They are just the first two read backwards. Hence the question can be reworded
how many integers are there between the numbers 10 and 99?
