Hi, No instructions were given but I am assuming you are to solve for n. I would first simplify each side of the equation separately. The right side is = 93 + (186) = 279 The left side is = (n + 93) + 158 = n + 93 + 158 = n + 251 Thus the original equation can be rewritten I see this last statement as a question, "What do you have to add to 251 to get 279?"
