Hi Kash,

If G were, say 12, then I would solve this as follows.

12 = 3H - 5 add 5 to each side 12 + 5 = 3H - 5 + 5
17 = 3H
Divide both sides by 3
 17/33H/3 = H

Now go through the same steps with G left as a variable. When you come to G + 5 just leave it that way since you don't know the value of G.
