A friend of yours, who is a long distance runner, runs at an average celocity of 8 miles per hour. Two hours after your friend leaves your house, you leave in your car and follow the same route as your friend. If your average velocity is 40 miles per hour, how long will it be before you reach your friend? How far will each of you be from home? Thanks ahead of time, |
