PLease help with this problem...
Dan can paint a car in 4 hours. Luke can pain the same car in 6 hours. Working together, how long would it take them to pain the same car?
Hi,
Dan can paint a car in 4 hours so he paints at the rate of 1/4 cars per hour. Luke can paint a car in 6 hours so he paints at a rate of 1/6 cars per hour. Hence working together they paint at the rate of 1/4 + 1/6 cars per hour. How long would it take them, working together, to paint one car?
