Jean says: "No Jo! You have fewer than 1,000 books."
Mary says: "Jo has at least 1 book."
Only one of these statements is true. How many books does Jo own?

Hi Miguel,
Simply assume the last statement is true and find out the consequences of that relative to the statement that only one statement is true. This not only tells you which is true but how many Jo has.
