If all I have is the length between 2 ends of an arc (72"), how do I find the length of the arc at its apex and the radius?

Hi Nancy,

You need more information to do what you want. The diagram below has three arcs of quite different lengths and yet the distance between the ends is 72" in each case.


Do you know some other fact that will completely determine the arc you want?
