Earlier this year we got a question from Kay who was working on a stain glass project that is on a 4 foot across octagonal window. She wanted to know the lengths of the sides. Penny did the calculation and got sides of length 1 foot 7 and 7/8 inches. Your son's playhouse is twice as wide as Kay's window. Will the sides be twice as long? longer?, shorter? Guess before you look at the answer.
