How would you factor completely,
x3-x2+5x-5?
It seems impossible! If there are more ways than one to solve this, please tell me as well.Thank you so much.

Hi Abraham,

In this case, a very well known number is a root, and you can possibly find it by plugging in a few of your favorite numbers. Once you find the root, you can factor x3-x2+5x-5 as

(x - root) * (a quadratic),

and factor the quadratic as usual.
