Quandaries and Queries

This is a math equation that is not true.
How can it be made to be true by using only one line?
I understand that a hint might be that the (RHS) ....I don't know what RHS means....and one of the plus signs remains the same.
The rest of the equation must change to make it true.

What's the solution here?
Thanks!

Hi Bill,

RHS means the right hand side of the equation.

I think if you add a small line to the first + sign you can change it into a 4, transforming the equation into 545+5=550 which is a true statement.
