My name is Dante and I am interested in knowing how to answer the following question:
Which number is greater: 888....88 X 333...33 or 444.......44 x 666........67 (each of the numbers has 1989 digits)?
Please if you know the answer let me know it as soon as possible. Thanks in advance

This is a nice problem. Perhaps you should first use factoring
to show that 888....88 X 333...33 = 444.......44 x 666........66
(where each of the numbers has 1989 digits), and draw a conclusion
from this.
