Hi Jordan,

There are 43560 square feet in an acre so 6 43560 = 261360 square feet in your 6 acres. One square yard is 3 feet by 3 feet and hence 9 square feet, thus your 6 acres is 261360/9 = 29040 square yards.

The concrete is 3 feet thick which is 1 yard thick so the volume of concrete is

29040 1 = 29,040 cubic yards.

Each cubic yard weighs 4024 pounds so you have

29,040 4,024 = 116,856,960 pounds of concrete,

which is 58,428 tons.
