| My name is Judy and I am a grade 6 teacher. We have just started our lessons on the order of operations and my students have asked me why we have BEDMAS and what is the logic to it. Is there a reason that that we do math in this particular order? Who invented this rule or how was it decided on and when? Thank you Judy |
