And I have a question in regards to the amount of fill needed to bring a vacant lot up to “grade level”.
The lot is 112’ x 87’ and I need to bring in fill to elevate the finished level up 4’.

There are 3 feet in a yard so

112 feet is ¹¹²/ ₃ yards
87 feet is ⁸⁷/ ₃ yards
4 feet is ⁴/ ₃ yards

Thus you need

 ¹¹²/ ₃  ⁸⁷/ ₃  ⁴/ ₃ = 1443.6 cubic yards.
