Question from ashley, a student:

A storage bin is 18 ft long, 6 ft wide and 3 ft high. What is its volume in cubic feet?

Hi Ashley,

The volume of a rectangular box is the length times the width times the height. To obtain the volume in cubic feet you need to ensure that each of the three measurements is in feet. You can check your calculations using our volume calculator.
