Question from C.:

If there are 260 students on roll and 11 of them are absent, how do i find the percentage of the students that are here?

Hi C.

The percentage of students that ARE here is the number of students that are here divided by the roll and then multiplied by 100. Since 11 students are absent, the number of students that are here is 260 - 11.

(260 - 11) / 260 * 100.

Hope this helps,
Stephen La Rocque.
