Question from Dana, a student:

If g(x) has a domain of all real numbers, name one point on a graph and explain why it must be there. g(x) is an odd function.

Hi Dana,

Since g(x) is an odd function, for and real number x

g(x) = -g(-x)

So g(1) = -g(-1) and g(-3) = -g(3).

What is g(0)?
