



 
Hi Kevin, You didn't say what units you want for the speed. If he drove an quarter of a mile in eight seconds then he drove an eighth of a quarter of a mile in one second. Four times eight is thirtytwo so he drove a thirtysecond of a mile in one second. If you want his speed in miles per hour multiply by the number of seconds in an hour. Harley Weston
