Subject: Maths Geometry How many diagonals does a hexagon have? |
Hi Marsha.
Each corner has two adjacent corners (so you can't form diagonals to them). That leaves three other corners to connect to. So each point has three diagonals going to it and each diagonal joins two points.
Can you add them up now? Just make sure you only count each diagonal once.
