Question from Quan, a student:

65 grams =_____?mg

Hi Quan,

The symbol mg stands for milligram and milli is a prefix that means one-thousandth, so one milligram is one one-thousandth of a gram. Thus it takes 1,000 milligrams to make a gram. How many milligrams does it take to make 65 grams?
