Question from Randy: I am trying to determine the size of the gas tank on a used truck I just purchased. There is no tag on it showing the size. It measures 50" wide by 12" high by 18" deep. How many gallons of gas does it hold? |
Hi Randy.
Multiply the dimensions together to get the number of cubic inches, then divide by the number of cubic inches per gallon. This is 277.4 in the UK or 231 in the US.
