Hi Sue. Your stone supplier will have to tell you the density of the stone. It is probably between 1.5 and 2 tons per cubic yard. You just multiply the cost per ton by the density in tons per cubic yard by the number of yards. $13.50 / 2000 lbs is the same as $20 to $27 per cubic yard, based on this estimate.
