Question from susan, a student: How do you do percentage say i sold a house for 350,000 my commssion is 2.5% how do i figure that out can you show the formula for calculator please thank you very much |
Hi Susan,
A percentage is a way of stating a fraction. Your commission is that fraction of the selling price. 2.5% is 2.5/100 = 0.025 so your commission is 0.025 times the selling price.
