Question from vanessa, a student:

problem statement:
amy is playing a game.
in order to win this game, she has to draw a red-coloured card from a given box.
advise her on her chances of winning.

Hi Vanessa,

To know her chances of winning Amy needs to know the number of cards in the box and how many of them are red. The probability of her winning is a fraction where the numerator is the number of red cards in the box and the denominator is the total number of cards in the box.
