A horse on a merry-go-round is 7m from the center and travels at a speed of 10km/h. What is its angular speed?

Hi Jack.

The speed of 10 km/hr is the speed it moves around the circumference. Calculate the circumference, divide that into the linear speed 10 km/hr and you'll find the number of revolutions per hour. That is an angular velocity, although you might want to convert it to other units, such as radians per second.
