Question from Greg:

List Price: $50.00
Discount: 33 1/3%

What would the net price be?

Hi Greg.

List Price - Discount = Net Price.

The Discount is 33 1/3% (that is 0.33333... in decimal form) of the List Price, so multiply these together:

$50.00 - (0.33333) × $50 = Net Price

$50.00 - $16.67 = Net Price

$33.33 = Net Price.

Hope this helps,
Stephen.
