south 1/2 of the northwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of a section

Hi Tammy.

A section is an area measurement (640 acres), so when you take portions of it, it doesn't matter where (northwest, etc) you take it from. You still get the area of the portion.

So the question is really asking this:

What is 1/2 of ( 1/4 of ( 1/4 of ( 640 acres ) ) ) ?
