Question from Adrian, a student:

Give the result of the following computation as an integer.

N.B. No calculators allowed

Hi Adrian,

I can give you a hint to get you started

505 × 10,000,001 = 5,050,000,505

Perhaps the comas get in the way and it is better to see the numbers in chunks so writing this a different way

505 × 1 000000 1 = 505 0000 505

I hope this helps,
Penny
