Angie, The area of a plot of land, regardless if you express it in acres or square feet depends on the dimensions and the shape. I am going to assume the shape is a rectangle. If it's not a rectangle then my calculations will be meaningless. One acre is 43560 square feet to 8.1 acres is 8.1 × 43560 = 348480 square feet. The area of a rectangle is the length times the width so if your land has length 1309 feet and width W feet then
and thus W = 348480/1309 = 266.22 feet. I hope this helps, | ||||||||||||
