Question from annette, a student:

circumference of a 3.75 ft circle I have not done this in years and forgot how.

We have two responses for you

Annette,

Multiply the diameter (distance across) the circle by pi which is about 22/7.

3.75 ft x (22 / 7) is about 11 ft 9 1/2 inches.

Stephen.

Annette,

It depends if 3.75 is the radius (distance from the centre to the circle) or the diameter (distance from one side of the circle to the other, through the centre). The circumference of a circle is pi times the diameter, which equals pi times twice the radius.
