Hi Ashley, Before solving for an x or y intercept, first we must review what that means. An x-intercept, lies on the x-axis and at that point y will ALWAYS = 0. Similarly for y-intercept, it will be on the y-axis and at that point x will ALWAYS = 0. ex: find the x and y intercept of the equation 3y - 4x = 12. X-intercept:
