Question from brittanygrant, a student: brittany house is 37 miles from his job. He leaves at 6:25pm, and drives 49 miles per hour. what time will he get beck home? |
I live further from my office, it's 50 miles away but the route is quite good and I can travel at 60 miles per hour. Since
it takes mr 50/60 = 5/6 hours to drive home. Since there are 60 minutes in an hour that's 5/6 × 60 = 50 minutes. Thus If I leave at 6:25 pm I can be home by 7:15.
