Question from CAMEILA, a student:

NEED T0 SOVE THIS EQUATION

Y = -2X + 6
Y + 6 = 2x

Hi Cameila.

If Y = -2X + 6, then let's replace Y in the second equation with -2X + 6. They're equal, after all, so we should be able to substitute one for the other.

Y + 6 = 2X
becomes
(-2X + 6) + 6 = 2X

Now can you solve for X and use that to find Y?

Cheers,
Stephen La Rocque.
