Question from Carlton:

If you divide one trillion by 2,600,000 what is the answer?

Carlton,

A trillion doesn't mean the same thing in every part of the world. Have a look at our note called Billions and more! I am going to use the American value of a trillion being 1012 = 1,000,000,000,000 because it has fewer zeros than the British value. You should use whichever is appropriate for you in Jamaica. Thus one trillion divided by 2,600,000 is

1,000,000,000,000/2,600,000 = 10,000,000/26 = 384,615.38

I hope this helps,
Penny
