Question from Charlotte, a teacher: On the TABE (Test for Adult Basic Education) test, one of the categories is number operation. I would like to know what consist of number operation. Thanks Charlotte |
Hi Charlotte,
In the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics curriculum there is a strand called Numbers and Operations. I think that this is what is referred to. Look at the NCTM overview of strands, Go to the appropriate grade level and then in the side bar look for Numbers and Operations.
